Common motor models for meat grinders include 5425, 5430, 6325, 6330, 7625 and 8830. The larger the model number, the
greater the horsepower, and the larger the jar capacity it can accommodate.
There are three main winding materials on the market: copper-clad aluminum (CCA), copper-rotor and full copper winding.
CCA motors are the lowest in cost, but because aluminum wire heats up quickly, their continuous working time is relatively
short. Full copper motors deliver a service life and continuous performance far beyond CCA ― but at a much higher cost: with
copper prices surging recently, a full copper motor can cost more than double a CCA motor of the same size. Copper-rotor
motors sit between the two, offering the best price-performance ratio.
For the high-end market, the commutator also makes a difference: more turns of copper wire mean more stable motor quality
and lower electromagnetic interference; paired with X/Y capacitors, the machine can easily pass the EMC test.
